(H) Shadows

The video is projected on the ground at the entrance of a dark room. It shows a grass flowerbed on which shadows appear, silhouettes distorted by the angle of light and shooting. The projection is arranged on the ground so that the visitor is confronted with this shadow which could, if one lends itself to the play, be his own. The shadows circulate from right to left, from left to must, clearly played by their owners. The perspective of the image, shown in this sense, produces an effect of strangeness: The filmed part furthest from the camera is the closest in the projection space. The grass ends up upside down. 2002/Ground video projection/variable dimensions
